DiverseafiHOLDINGS
Independent Sponsor · Owner-Operator

I buy and operate good businesses, and I run them like they matter. Because they do.

Diverseafi Holdings acquires companies with $1M to $15M in EBITDA from owners who care what happens next. I'm an operator first: straight answers, fast decisions, and respect for what you built.

An operator, not a spreadsheet

Matt Beagle

I'm Matt Beagle. I've spent 30 years building and leading sales organizations, including 20 years at T-Mobile, where I built sales verticals that didn't previously exist across education, state and local government, federal, and the Fortune 500. Most recently I served as Chief Revenue Officer at a managed IT services and cybersecurity provider, where revenue grew 21% in my first year.

I also know the other lane from the ground up. I hold a degree in construction, and I've done the work. I framed houses, plumbed them, and wired them before going on to invest in general contractors. I buy in two lanes because I've lived in both: industrial businesses I understand with my hands, and software businesses I understand from running their revenue.

I buy companies to own them, not flip them. Where the business needs a successor, I step in and run it. Where a strong leadership team already exists, I back it and stay out of its way.

I operate on the independent sponsor model: acquisitions are funded deal-by-deal with private investors and lenders, and capital is committed before I sign a letter of intent. You'll never wonder whether the money is real. It's arranged before I ask for exclusivity.

What I'm looking for

EBITDA
$1M to $15M. Larger transactions pursued alongside capital partners.
Post-close leadership
Flexible. I can step in as operator, or back and retain your existing leadership team.
Industries
Two lanes: industrial (manufacturing, construction, and building services) and software (B2B SaaS and tech-enabled services)
Geography
Southeast United States preferred; open to the broader U.S. for the right business
Situations
Owner retirement and succession, partial liquidity with continued involvement, corporate carve-outs
What I value
Recurring or repeat revenue, a tenured team, a reason the business wins that isn't the owner's phone number
Process
Direct answers within 48 hours of reviewing a CIM. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you why, fast.

How I work

Know the business

I do the work before I make an offer. When I ask for a call, I've read everything you sent me, and I'll have questions that prove it.

Say the hard thing early

If a deal has a problem, you'll hear it from me first, not at the eleventh hour. Retrades built on manufactured surprises aren't how I operate.

Earn it, don't assume it

The owner knows this business better than I do. My job in year one is to learn it, protect the team, and only then make it better.
